This lesson opens with a heartfelt exploration of sujud, the greatest pillar of salah and the moment when a believer draws closest to Allah. Drawing on the Qur’anic command, “Prostrate and come close (to Allah)” (Surah al-ʿAlaq:19), learners come to understand that placing the noblest part of the body, the face, upon the ground is the highest expression of ʿubūdiyyah.
