The lesson opens with as-salah al-Ibrahimiyyah a deeply moving duʿa in which the believer asks Allah to shower blessings upon our beloved Prophet ﷺ and his family, just as He blessed the Prophet Ibrahim and his family. Learners are invited to pause and reflect on how much the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ sacrificed and worried for this Ummah, and to send their greetings to him with love and gratitude in their hearts. They also discover the remarkable fact that when salawat is sent, an angel personally delivers that greeting to the Prophet ﷺ and that by praying for the Prophet ﷺ, one is also making duʿa for oneself.

Learners then explore the duʿa before salam, in which they seek Allah’s protection from the punishment of the Fire, the punishment of the grave, the trials of life and death, and the trial of al-Masih ad-Dajjal. The lesson concludes with guidance on the salam and the importance of the adhkar after salah, pausing, reflecting, and seeking Allah’s forgiveness before returning to daily life.
