The lesson opens with a deeply moving story from the final days of our beloved Prophet ﷺ. Too ill to lead the salah himself, he appointed Abu Bakr to lead the Companions in his place. On the last day, the curtain of his room was gently lifted and the Companions saw his shining face smiling at them as they stood in their rows for salah. It was the last time they ever saw him alive. This tender moment reminds learners that salah is never to be abandoned, even in the most difficult of circumstances.

Young learners are then introduced to the concept of a concession in Islam and discover how Allah and our beloved Prophet ﷺ always chose the easier of two options when both were permissible. The lesson explains how to perform wudu when injured, including wiping over a bandage or cast, or performing tayammum when water could cause harm and walks through three clear methods of praying when standing is not possible, sitting cross-legged, sitting on a chair, and lying down.
