Through the compelling narrative of Umm Jamil’s hostility towards our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, they will witness the miraculous way Allah protects His special servants. The lesson brilliantly demonstrates how despite the Prophet’s ﷺ calm and patient response to cruelty, Allah always defends those who follow His path, showcased through the miraculous incident near the Kaʿbah where Umm Jamil could not see the Prophet ﷺ despite him sitting right next to Abu Bakr.

Young learners will explore how Umm Jamil’s beautiful appearance and expensive necklace could not save her from punishment, teaching that helping others do evil leads to sharing their punishment. Learners will understand that her expensive necklace, which she threatened to sell to harm Muslims, will be replaced with a rope of fire around her neck in the afterlife.
