This lesson tells the story of the great flood for young learners aged 5+. Colourful illustrations carry little ones through the story of Prophet Nuh عليه السلام, the ship, and the mighty flood that Allah sent upon the land.

The story begins with Allah’s command to Prophet Nuh عليه السلام to take a pair of every animal on board. Then the rain falls, the water rises, and the dry land disappears beneath a sea. Waves as tall as mountains rock the ship for days, and through it all, Allah watches over the believers.

One of the most moving moments in the lesson is when Prophet Nuh عليه السلام calls out to his own son, urging him to come aboard. His son refuses, trusting a mountain to keep him safe. Through this, young learners begin to understand something deeply important: only Allah can truly protect us. The lesson ends with the ship resting on Mount Judiyy, the believers giving thanks, and two Names of Allah gently introduced: Allah is The Strongest and Allah is The Most Kind.

This lesson tells the story of Prophet Nuh عليه السلام in a way that young learners can truly connect with. It follows a Prophet who called his people to Allah alone for 950 years and never gave up even when his own family turned away.

Learners will explore the courage and patience of Prophet Nuh عليه السلام. They will learn how shaytan tricked the people into worshipping statues, how Nuh عليه السلام stayed true to Allah even when those around him turned away, and how Allah commanded him to build a great ship. Throughout the lesson, the core message of tawhid shines clearly: we worship Allah alone, and we obey Him even when others do not.

The lesson is followed by four fun activities that reinforce key vocabulary and comprehension. Learners fill in missing letters from the story, draw and colour a ship using simple shapes, colour the letters N, U and H to reveal the number 950, and circle the correct answers to recap the story’s key lessons.
