In this lesson, learners will:
  • List when I should recite the three special Surahs.
  • Explore what these Surahs protect us from
  • Explain one virtue of Surah al-Ikhlas

  • Connect the dots: Create a shield whilst counting how many times you read the three special Surahs throughout the day (after five daily salahs, morning, evening, before sleep).
  • Protection brainstorm: Think of all the evils these Surahs protect you from and write them around the illustrated shield.
  • Fraction colouring: Colour one third of various shapes to visualise what one third of the Qur’an means.
  • Juz calculation: Work out how many juz (parts) are in one third of the Qur’an to appreciate Surah al-Ikhlas’s immense value.
