This profound session invites adult learners to reflect on the centrality of the Quran in their lives, explore the impact of belief in the hereafter, and contemplate Allah’s magnificent signs throughout creation.

Session 1: Truth & Denial

Opens with the powerful dua for opening of the heart, asking Allah to make the Quran the spring of the heart, the light of the chest, the banisher of grief, and the reliever of anxiety

Explores why Makkan surahs focus on Allah’s Oneness, Prophethood, and Resurrection, understanding that the Companions were ready to do anything for Allah’s sake because their hearts were already filled with love for Him and iman

Discovers why our beloved Prophet ﷺ would recite Surah Qaf in large gatherings including Jumuah salah, Friday sermons, the two Eid salahs, and Fajr salah, with Umm Hisham bint Harithah memorising it purely from hearing it in the khutbah

Reflects on the glorious Quran through the opening oath by the letter Qaf, contemplating its lofty, majestic status and completing the sentence “The Quran is…”

Examines the profound question “Do they not reflect on the Quran? Or are there locks upon their hearts?” alongside Ibn Taymiyyah’s wisdom that nothing nourishes the mind and soul, protects the body, and guarantees success more than constantly engaging with the Book of Allah

Plans seven practical ways to improve relationship with the Quran this Ramadan including learning proper recitation, establishing a fixed daily wird, memorising portions, understanding meanings, reflecting deeply, increasing iman, and acting upon its guidance

Explores the denial of the Messenger, questioning how people might have reacted if Allah had sent an angel instead of a human messenger, understanding the Quraysh’s astonishment at receiving a warner from among themselves

Examines the denial of resurrection, understanding that the remainder of the surah responds to the Quraysh’s disbelief that humans could be brought back to life after perishing and decomposing

Reflects on Allah’s absolute knowledge through understanding that everything is recorded in al-Lawh al-Mahfuz with not one thing missed, contemplating how this verse makes one feel

Discovers the consequence of rejecting truth leads to confusion (marij), imagining the disorientation of waking on a plane with no idea how one got there, who brought them, or where they’re headed

Reflects deeply on how belief in the hereafter impacts daily life, identifying which aspect of life needs more akhirah focus and writing one concrete action to take this week

Contemplates Allah’s signs in the flawless sky, understanding how it reflects Allah’s power and beauty whilst being built, adorned, and flawless in structure, connecting the physical to the spiritual as our beloved Prophet ﷺ would frequently look at the sky and glorify Allah

Reflects on the earth with firm mountains and pleasant plants, understanding that just as mountains make the earth firm and stable, revelation’s purpose is to make our hearts firm and stable too

Discovers who the chosen people are who will benefit from these signs, understanding they are the servants who constantly return to Allah (munib), and that any knowledge not leading to knowing Allah is incomplete, false, or useless

Explores the similarities between water from the sky and revelation from the sky, writing five things in nature, home, or body that depend on water to survive

Reflects on palm trees’ remarkable qualities including surviving extreme heat, having long life and durability, and producing abundant fruit with variety of flavours, colours, and textures

Understands the parable of giving life to dead land as proof of resurrection, recognising that the One who causes dead earth to come back to life can certainly bring humans back to life

Takes a glance at history through eight civilisations (four in Arabia and four outside) who rejected their messengers, understanding that water can be both blessing and punishment, and that no matter how advanced a civilisation becomes, it is not immune to Allah’s punishment

Completes the session with reflection, action planning, and homework including planning a nature walk with family to observe Allah’s magnificent creation

Perfect for adult learners in Islamic study circles, community programmes, and Ramadan preparations, this presentation nurtures hearts through authentic Quranic tarbiyah rooted in the values of certainty, servitude, and love.

This inspiring session invites adult learners to reflect on the importance of the heart, learn how to develop a heart that always turns to Allah, and explore the characteristics of the people of Jannah.

Session 3: Heaven & Hell

Opens with imagine your outcome starter activity, writing on post-it notes how one would feel hearing either the announcement of entry into Jannah with eternal peace and bliss, or condemnation to Hell-fire with no escape or relief

Explores the shiver-inducing verse where Allah asks Hell if it is full yet and it responds asking if there are any more, understanding that Hell will become full yet there will always be room for more as current people get squashed and constricted further, and that Hell is so huge that despite huge numbers entering, there will be room for more

Reflects on the contrast with the pleasant, calm, and friendly scene where Paradise will be brought near (uzlifat) to the righteous, showing honour with every word as Paradise is brought near so they don’t have to trouble themselves by going to it

Discovers the people of Paradise through four characteristics: awwab (the one who constantly returns to his Lord and always repents to Allah), hafiz (protector who guards eyes, ears, and all senses from anything haram and from crossing Allah’s boundaries), who were in awe of the Most Compassionate without seeing Him (khashyah equals fear plus glorification), and have come with a heart turning only to Him (qalb munib, a sincere heart that is always turning to Allah and remembers its sins in private whilst seeking repentance)

Reflects on feeling unworthy of Jannah because of sins, and how these verses shift one’s perspective on the characteristics of the people of Jannah

Understands repentance and the heart through noticing that Allah mentions the people of Jannah starting with repentance (awwab) and ending with repentance (munib), that every act of worship has an outer and inner aspect, and that focusing on the inner allows the outer to follow in course

Explores the profound goal of reaching the level of inabah, which consists of repeatedly turning to Allah with love and humility whilst turning away from other than Him

Engages in write a letter activity, thinking of a recent sin and writing a letter to Allah begging forgiveness by acknowledging one’s lowly status, begging, promising to try one’s best never to return to the sin, and asking Allah to help one stay away from it

Reflects on how the activity made one feel, what stops one from turning to Allah in repentance, and what steps can be taken to ensure one is always turning to Allah and focused on Him

Discovers the best welcome where people of Jannah will enter in peace (salam) on the Day of eternal life (yawm al-khulud), understanding that salam has two meanings (peace and greetings) with both intended, that salam and eternal peace and serenity is the ultimate goal, and that this dunya is not a place of peace, whilst the best greeting will insha’Allah be “Salam, a word from the Most Merciful Lord”

Explores everything you’ve ever wished through understanding there are two types of naim in Jannah (physical and spiritual), and that with Allah is even more (mazid)

Contemplates what ‘more’ refers to, understanding it is the gift of seeing Allah, and that the greatest joy a believer will enjoy in the hereafter will be the joy of seeing Allah and meeting Him, an experience no words can describe, and that when people of Jannah see Allah with their very own eyes they will forget all previous blessings given to them in Paradise

Creates your Jannah vision, understanding that the Companions felt like the hereafter was very real which motivated them and kept them on track, and that as humans we need a reminder of Jannah to motivate us, drawing or describing ideal Jannah whilst engaging all senses

Learns using your Jannah vision by understanding that Allah gives tribulations and trials to help us wake up and turn to Him out of His mercy as He wants eternal happiness and bliss for us, and that next time facing a trial one should take out the vision board, wear akhirah glasses to shift perspective, refocus on the goal, and take action by identifying steps needed to stay on the right path (patience, dua, steadfastness, repentance)

Perfect for adult learners in Islamic study circles, community programmes, and Ramadan preparations, this presentation nurtures hearts through authentic Quranic tarbiyah rooted in the values of love, pure heart, and servitude.

Session 3: A Journey Through Surah Qaf – Dreams Come True

Reflects on the profound reality that Jahannam is surrounded by desires whilst Jannah is surrounded by hardships, understanding that surrendering to desires leads one towards the Fire

Discovers the four characteristics of the people of Paradise: constantly returning to Allah (awwab), protecting oneself from haram and Allah’s boundaries (hafiz), holding the Most Gracious in awe though He is unseen (khashyah), and coming before Him with a heart turned to Him in devotion (munib)

Explores the importance of the heart in our din, understanding that a munib heart is one that is always turning to Allah through inabah

Engages in the crumpled paper heart activity, writing a heartfelt letter to Allah begging for forgiveness, acknowledging one’s lowly status, and promising to try never to return to sin

Reflects on the honour of the people of Jannah as Paradise will be brought close to them, no longer distant, and they will enter it in peace on the Day of everlasting life

Understands that the best welcome awaits believers with eternal peace and serenity, including the greeting of “Salam” from the Most Merciful Lord

Watches and reflects on the phenomenal experience of seeing Allah, understanding that the greatest joy a believer will enjoy in the hereafter will be the joy of seeing and meeting their Lord, an experience beyond words

Creates their ideal Jannah through artistic expression, choosing to draw, sketch, write poetry, spoken word, or descriptive pieces, engaging all their senses in the competition activity

Help young learners discover the secret to loving salah through this engaging lesson. This lesson guides young Muslims to understand khushuʿ (humility and full focus in prayer) through the inspiring story of ʿAbbad ibn Bishr, who continued praying even whilst being shot with arrows. They learn practical steps to transform their salah from rushed movements into a loving conversation with Allah.

This lesson nurtures ʿubūdiyyah (servitude to Allah) by teaching learners that khushuʿ is a special feeling of humility and submission to Allah, being tranquil, focused and connected to Him. Young Muslims learn that when they fill their hearts with love, humility, and awe, they will love to pray salah and never miss it.

Through the heroic story of ʿAbbad ibn Bishr, learners discover what true focus in salah looks like. Despite being shot with three arrows whilst on guard duty, ʿAbbad continued his prayer because he was reciting a surah and didn’t want to stop until finishing it. The lesson explains that our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ found the most joy in salah because he loved Allah so much.

This lesson teaches that rushing salah makes us like thieves stealing from our own prayer, and that successful believers are those who have khushuʿ in their salah.

Help young learners develop unwavering commitment to salah through this powerful lesson. This lesson guides young Muslims to understand the profound importance of never missing salah through the inspiring story of ʿUmar ibn al-Khattab, who even whilst fatally wounded insisted on praying. They learn that salah is their direct connection (silah) to Allah and discover how to stay strong against Shaytan’s tricks.

This lesson nurtures ʿubūdiyyah (servitude to Allah) by teaching learner that salah is the most important act of worship. The word ‘salah’ comes from ‘silah’ meaning connection, showing how we stay connected to our Loving Lord. Young Muslims learn that in salah, we have a private, one-to-one conversation with Allah five times daily, praising Him, thanking Him, asking for help, and humbling ourselves before Him.

The lesson emphasizes that once children turn seven, they should start praying, and by age ten should pray all five daily salahs independently. Once mature (baligh), deliberately missing salah becomes one of the biggest sins. Through a powerful Hadith, learners discover that those who don’t take care of their prayers will be with Qarun, Firʿawn, Haman, and Ubayy ibn Khalaf on the Day of Judgement.

Help your old learners perfect their wudu and salah through this comprehensive lesson. This lesson guides young Muslims through all the fard, sunnah, and mustahabb acts of wudu and salah using an engaging story format. Learners follow Musa as he teaches Ahmad, a new Muslim classmate, the complete method of performing wudu and salah with care and excellence.

This lesson nurtures iḥsān (excellence) by showing children the complete wudu process: making intention, washing hands to the wrists, using miswak, rinsing the mouth and nose, washing the face, arms including elbows, wiping the head and ears, and washing the feet including ankles. Young Muslims learn to perform each act three times, continuously without breaks, whilst not wasting water.

For salah, learners discover the detailed method: standing with intention, raising hands for takbir, placing hands between navel and chest, reciting duʿa al-istiftah, taʿawwudh, basmalah, Surah al-Fatihah and another surah, performing rukuʿ with specific dhikr, rising with tasmiʿ and tahmid, making sajdah touching forehead, nose, palms, knees and toes whilst saying dhikr, sitting between sajdahs, reciting tashahhud, sending salawat, making duʿa, and completing with salam.

Help young learners understand al-mash ʿalal-khuffayn (wiping over leather socks) through this practical lesson.

This lesson guides young Muslims to appreciate Allah’s kindness in making wudu easy for us. They learn that instead of always washing their feet, they can wipe over their khuffayn (special leather socks), following the blessed practice of our beloved Prophet ﷺ and his Companions.

This lesson nurtures yaqīn (certainty) about Allah’s mercy by teaching children that mash means gently wiping over something with a wet hand. Young Muslims discover that when washing feet becomes difficult, Allah permits us to wipe over khuffayn instead, showing how kind Allah is and how easy our beautiful religion of Islam truly is.

The lesson provides clear, step-by-step instructions: wet your hands, gently wipe over the top of your khuffayn starting from your toes going up to your ankle, and it’s mustahabb (recommended) to also wipe the bottom. Children learn they only need to wipe once, not three times like other wudu parts.

This lesson guides young Muslims to appreciate that Allah created every human in a pure and beautiful state called fitrah. Our beloved Prophet ﷺ taught us ten specific habits that help us stay clean, healthy, and respectful, transforming daily hygiene into acts of worship.

This lesson nurtures yaqīn (certainty) by teaching young learners that fitrah is the natural way Allah created us, where every person is born knowing that Allah is their Creator and only He should be worshipped. Young Muslims learn the ten sunan of fitrah: siwak, istinja, washing the parts where dirt hides, rinsing the mouth and nose, trimming the moustache, cutting the nails, removing armpit hair, removing pubic hair, letting the beard grow, and circumcision.

The lesson beautifully organizes these practices: some are done daily, others regularly (not delayed beyond 40 days), and some are lifetime practices. Children discover that Allah is al-Fatir (The Originator) who created us from nothing and knows what is best for us.

This lesson nurtures ʿubūdiyyah (servitude to Allah) by teaching children that Allah created us to worship Him with both our bodies and our hearts. Through an engaging comic story, learners discover how Prophet Sulayman was described by Allah as “What an excellent servant!” and explore what made him so special.

The lesson addresses a common challenge: praying salah like a robot, simply going through the motions without real feeling. Young Muslims learn that Allah wants us to fill our hearts with complete humility, respect, love, and awe for Him, transforming worship from empty actions into meaningful devotion. By understanding the purpose and secrets behind acts of worship, especially the 5 pillars of Islam, children can worship Allah in the best manner.
