Help young learners discover sawm (fasting) as the fourth pillar of Islam through this gentle lesson. This lesson introduces young Muslims to fasting in a warm, age-appropriate way. They learn that sawm means fasting, which is when we don’t eat or drink anything during the day. The lesson teaches that we fast to make Allah happy and to show our love for Him.

Through simple, clear language, learners discover that fasting is a great act of worship and that Allah loves those who fast. The lesson nurtures gratitude by teaching young learners that fasting makes us thankful for the food and water we have every day, whilst helping us remember people around the world who don’t have enough food and water.

Help your young learners discover the blessed month of Ramadan through this enganing lesson. This lesson introduces young Muslims to fasting in a warm, age-appropriate way. They learn that we fast in Ramadan, the 9th month of the Islamic calendar, and discover how fasting helps us become strong Muslims by staying away from bad behaviours and remembering Allah with gratitude.

Through simple, clear language, learners discover that when we fast, we stay away from bad behaviours like lying or being angry. The lesson teaches that fasting protects us from Shaytan and helps us remember to be kind in our words and actions, and to share our food with those who are hungry.
