Session 2: Every Step Counts

• Begins by addressing Allah’s might in creation, questioning whether it is easier to create something from scratch or recreate it, establishing that resurrection is inevitable
• Explores the profound reality that Allah knows what the soul whispers, being closer to us than our jugular vein, and reflects on how this belief should transform our behaviour
• Discovers the two angels who record every deed, learning that the angel on the left delays registering sins for six hours to allow for repentance, revealing Allah’s mercy
• Understands that not a single word is uttered without an ever-present watcher, emphasising the importance of guarding one’s speech
• Practises taking an audit of actions through the 24-hour playback challenge, writing down positive and negative things said or done in the last 24 hours
• Examines the trance of death and the petrifying sound of the trumpet, understanding that each person will arrive at the Divine Court attended by angels to drive them on and bear witness
• Explores the reality of having the veil lifted on the Day of Judgement, when those who were heedless will finally see everything with sharp sight
• Identifies the five characteristics of the people of Hell: stubborn disbeliever, preventing good, aggressive and crossing boundaries, causing others to doubt, and setting up other gods alongside Allah
• Engages in role play activities to understand these characteristics and develop practical strategies to avoid them
• Learns that even the devil will disown sinners on that Day, and understands Allah’s perfect justice through His statement that He is not unjust to any creature
