Help young learners to understand how Shaytan tricked Adam عليه السلام in Jannah, why we must never listen to his whispers, how Allah forgives those who are sorry and the role of the Prophets.
This colourful lesson continues the story of Adam عليه السلام, taking young learners through one of the most important lessons they will ever learn: that Shaytan is our enemy, and that turning back to Allah in repentance is always possible. This lesson brings this story to life in a way little ones can truly feel and remember.
Learners discover that when Allah ordered the angels to prostrate towards Adam عليه السلام, all of them obeyed except Shaytan. Full of pride, Shaytan refused and declared himself better. Allah gave Adam عليه السلام and Hawwa’ علیہا السلام a beautiful life in Jannah, with just one boundary: stay away from a particular tree. But Shaytan was patient in his deception. Day after day, he whispered, promising them they would become like angels or live forever until one day, they ate from the tree.
What follows is a lesson in something every child needs to know: that making a mistake does not mean all is lost. Adam عليه السلام and Hawwa’ علیہا السلام felt deeply sorry, asked Allah to forgive them, and He did. They were asked to leave Jannah and begin life on Earth, where Allah honoured Adam عليه السلام by making him the first Prophet chosen to teach people to worship Allah alone, to do good, and to stay away from bad. They raised their children with the same message: always do what Allah says, and beware of Shaytan’s whispers.
