Hajj: A Journey of a Lifetime – Session 6 – Madinah
Session 6 takes learners through the sacred sites of Madīnah, the etiquette of visiting our beloved Prophet ﷺ, and the stories of the noble Sahabah. With practical guidance on pre-Ḥajj planning and avoiding common mistakes, this session ensures every pilgrim arrives at ḥajj spiritually nourished, well-prepared, and deeply connected to the Sunnah.
Session 6 invites learners into the blessed city of Madīnah, helping them make the most of every sacred moment before and after ḥajj while avoiding the common pitfalls that rob pilgrims of their reward. Grounded in the Sīrah and overflowing with love for our beloved Prophet ﷺ, this session nurtures a deep and lasting connection to the man who gave everything so that we might have everything.
In Session 6, learners will:
- Explore the sacred sites of Madīnah, from al-Masjid al-Nabawī and Baqīʿ to Masjid Qubā’ and Mount Uḥud.
- Stand in the company of our beloved Prophet ﷺ, filling the heart with love, longing, and awe while learning the etiquette of sending ṣalawāt and offering the prophetic greeting.
- Reflect on the stories of the Sahabah, including Abū Bakr (ra), ʿUmar (ra), and Muṣʿab b. ʿUmayr, uncovering the qualities and sacrifices that made them the best of generations.
- Plan the days before ḥajj wisely, creating a structured hour-by-hour schedule that balances worship, rest, and preparation without wasting precious time on distractions.
- Identify and avoid the common mistakes of ḥajj, safeguarding the acceptance and reward of this once-in-a-lifetime act of worship.
