Session 3: A Journey Through Surah Qaf – Dreams Come True

• Begins with a powerful exploration of Jahannam’s terrifying nature, understanding its enormous size through the verse where Hell asks if there is more, revealing that there will always be room for more inhabitants who become squashed and constricted
• Reflects on the profound reality that Jahannam is surrounded by desires whilst Jannah is surrounded by hardships, understanding that surrendering to desires leads one towards the Fire
• Discovers the four characteristics of the people of Paradise: constantly returning to Allah (awwab), protecting oneself from haram and Allah’s boundaries (hafiz), holding the Most Gracious in awe though He is unseen (khashyah), and coming before Him with a heart turned to Him in devotion (munib)
• Explores the importance of the heart in our din, understanding that a munib heart is one that is always turning to Allah through inabah
• Engages in the crumpled paper heart activity, writing a heartfelt letter to Allah begging for forgiveness, acknowledging one’s lowly status, and promising to try never to return to sin
• Reflects on the honour of the people of Jannah as Paradise will be brought close to them, no longer distant, and they will enter it in peace on the Day of everlasting life
• Understands that the best welcome awaits believers with eternal peace and serenity, including the greeting of “Salam” from the Most Merciful Lord
• Explores the promise that people of Jannah will have literally anything they wish for plus mazid, the ultimate gift, reflecting on what this additional blessing might be
• Watches and reflects on the phenomenal experience of seeing Allah, understanding that the greatest joy a believer will enjoy in the hereafter will be the joy of seeing and meeting their Lord, an experience beyond words
• Creates their ideal Jannah through artistic expression, choosing to draw, sketch, write poetry, spoken word, or descriptive pieces, engaging all their senses in the competition activity
